ORIGINAL PRINTMAKING

A handmade, original screen print on finest quality Fabriano Artistico 100% cotton paper (285gsm).
Two edges have a deckle with looks great when framed.

All of my prints are signed on the front, numbered, titled and dated in pencil.
Edition size 8  . sold unframed

This is new 2025. It took a very long time to make as each colour is applied separately by hand through the silkscreen. It has a textured appearance in parts of the print as I hand-draw and paint my stencils before the process of making the actual prints starts. The inks have a lovely chalky quality and work extremely well on the Fabriano paper which is lovely and thick with a slight texture.

I’ve called it ‘The Snail’ as it reminded me of the same named work by Matisse.

Packaged with a sturdy protective cardboard backing and cellophane wrapped.
