Mitsumata Washi is a handmade paper made from the inner bark the Mitsumata tree in Nepal, a native plant of the Himalayan foothills and is a sustainable and renewable resource.

Slightly transparent at first glance, the colours fully reveal themselves when backed against a paler surface when framed. 
I really love the subtlety and depth this paper brings to my new work.

A hand-pulled print with subtle textures and a tranquil, organic flow, inviting a moment of calm to any space.
