Upon the Stone (sold framed)

Description

A pebble turned into a world of vivid blues and greens.

This one-of-a-kind handmade silkscreen print and coloured pencil drawing on a vintage book cover, transforms a simple stone into flowing abstract forms—layers of cobalt, greens and soft sky hues.

~ signed and dated in pencil at the bottom 

These works are made spontaneously alongside making prints on paper. They are unplanned and evolve almost by themselves. Even though most of my work comes from things seen in the landscape, these recent pieces seem to flow from other work. I love to try out different textures through hand-drawn stencils to add subtle details and add extra layers of colour.
